Advocacy and Communications Intern
Monica is the Advocacy and Communications intern at the RBM Partnership to End Malaria, driven by a commitment to use
advocacy to inspire positive action in vulnerable communities. With a master’s degree in International
Development Studies from the Geneva Graduate Institute and over two years of experience in strategic
communications, advocacy and partnerships, Monica brings a wealth of experience on development issues and global
initiatives.
Monica has a proven track record in designing communication strategies, creating engaging content, managing social
media platforms and coordinating events in various organizations including the United Nations Volunteers, the
United Nations Population Fund, and the Global Survivors Fund. She is also proficient in graphic design,
storytelling and podcasting.
A native of Ghana, Monica enjoys travelling, exploring cuisines, taking photos and listening to podcasts.
Monica is excited to bring her creativity, enthusiasm, and innovative approach to boost RBM’s communications and
advocacy efforts.
